@Dear Dany,
This is the correct article for recovering the router. You must connect the LAN port of the router to the computer when recovering. If you follow all the steps, but still don’t work. The uboot of the router may have been changed. Or the router is faulty. If you still can login to the web page of the router, you must change the uboot to Cudy official uboot first.
“Hello,
I am trying to reset and recover my Cudy TR30 router using TFTP64, but it does not work correctly.
When I connect the power and hold the RESET button, TFTP64 automatically switches the server interface to “Software Loopback Interface 1”. After that, nothing happens and the router does not start the recovery or firmware upload process.
I already tried:
Holding the RESET button before powering on Using different Ethernet ports Changing network adapter settings Setting a static IP address on my PC
However, the router still does not enter proper recovery mode.
Could you please help me understand:
1. How to correctly enter recovery/TFTP mode on the TR30
2. Which LAN port should be used
3. What IP settings are required
4. Whether this behavior indicates a hardware issue
Thank you."
