How to install Cudy 4G LTE Router?

Preparation:

1. Install the antennas and position them upwards.

2. Insert the SIM card into the slot until you hear a click.

3. Connect the power adapter to the router and power it on.

Step 1: Open a web browser and go to http://cudy.net or http://192.168.10.1. Input the administrator password to log in.

Note: The default administrator password is "admin" if the firmware version is 1.X.X. We have removed the default administrator password since the firmware version 2.X.X. You must create the administrator password when first log in.

For details, please refer to How to log into the web interface of Cudy Router?

Step 2: The Quick Setup window will pop up, select your 'Time Zone'.

Step 3: Configure the  APN parameters. Most of the time we only just need keep APN Profile as " Auto". Then click "Next". The router will choose the APN parameters automatically. (Recommend)

If you want to customize the APN parameters. You can choose APN Profile as " Manual", and input the correct APN parameters.

Note: If you are not sure about the APN parameters, please contact your Internet Service Provider.

Step 4: Set the wireless network name and password or keep them as default.

Step 5: Click "Save & Apply" to complete the configuration.

Step 6: When the Status is Connected, you can enjoy the internet.

R700 V1.0

I bought this router recently and this has never received any firmware update since its release date. Can you guys work on its latest firmware? Currently, we are unable to put multiple IP ranges when making a rule set to route specific data through a specific WAN.

Also, the rule is not applying properly sometimes. In the policy tab, you can not give priority to a specific WAN. Please fix these.

@Dear Tommy,
Generally, there is no need to set the router. Just connect the devices to the LAN ports of the router. Then it will work. You can try to reset the router to factory default by long pressing the reset button for about 3 seconds. You can release the reset button when the LED flashes. Then connect all the devices and check if the problem avoided?

In addition, please check if the CCTV camera is set to get the IP address via DHCP when connect to the router via wired cable? If not, please set it.

“Dear Cudy team. How should I configure your router lt500D to be able to connect two CCTV cameras via Ethernet cable? I was able to connect only one that supports wifi, second one can be connected only via cable. Your router does not see these devices in lan network.”

@Dear Amigos,

The AT command for checking EARFCN is AT+QENG=“servingcell” , You can also check it in the syslog. For example
AT+QENG=“servingcell” → AT+QENG=“servingcell” +QENG: “servingcell”,“NOCONN”,“LTE”,“FDD”,250,01,41720C,9,1802,3,5,5,454C,-89,-10,-59,14,35 OK
The “1802” is the EARFCN.
For cell ID, we don’t have plan to change the format.

“Hi! In first iam need to say thanks for very balanced products with Cudy brand. Anyway i have some question about Cudy LT400 Outdoor functions.
