I see there is WR1300 V4 now, firmware is different from V3. What exactly has changed in the hardware, can it be made to work with OpenWrt too?

The OpenWrt firmware is not developed by Cudy. We need the OpenWrt forum official support the router at first, then we can release a middle firmware for you, then you can use and upgrade to the other OpenWrt firmware. Thanks!
