Cudy Whole Home Mesh system is built to eliminate dead zones and to provide uninterrupted Wi-Fi throughout your home. This article will guide you to build a mesh system step by step.
Preparation:
1. Ensure you own at least 2 Cudy products.
2. All Cudy products support mesh technology: Home Mesh-Cudy official website
3. Firmware is up-to-date: Download Center
4. Take them in the same room during configuration.
5. Reset all your Cudy products to factory default settings. (With the Power on, press and hold the RESET button with a pin for 6s, then release.)
6. Set up your primary router and make it connect to the internet.
Here we take M1800 and WR2100 as examples:

Step 1: Open a web browser and go to http://cudy.net or http://192.168.10.1.
For details, please refer to How to log into the web interface of Cudy Router?
Step 2: On the System Status page, click on the "+" button.

Step 3: Press the WPS button on the M1800 and then press the WPS button on WR2100.

Main mesh unit: Flash white
Add-on mesh unit: Flash white and red alternately
Step 4: It will go to "Scanning", then " Connecting".

Step 5: Wait until the System LED of the add-on router turns into solid blue, then relocate WR2100.

Step 6: Success and enjoy the mesh network.

Note:
1. 4/5G router can only be set up as a Main mesh unit. For example:

2. You will not able to log into the web interface of the add-on mesh router. If you want to change settings, please click on "System Status"->"Mesh".

Can the TR3000 be connected in a mesh network with two M3000 v2 units? I need a USB port to be available in the mesh network.
Can I make a mesh between M1200 and WR1300 ? I have one M1200, if this is possible then I will buy WR 1300. Thanks.
@Dear ANTONIO,
Our technical support has sent you the firmware via email. Please check.
“Good morning. I need the updated firmware for the WR6500 router as the main mesh router and three M3000 units as mesh satellites. Can you send it to me by email?
Thank you.”

@Dear Matej,
I suggest you use the WR3000P currently since WR6500H’s official firmware still doesn’t support Mesh function.
It is better to connect all the mesh devices via cable. More stable and faster.
“Hi,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I am deciding between the WR3000P and WR6500H as the main unit/router in my mesh system, along with the AP3000 Outdoor and AP3000 as APs. Will the entire system work on Wi-Fi 6 or within the range of the WR6500H Wi-Fi 7, and outside its range, Wi-Fi 6? Is it better to connect the APs to the main router with cables or wirelessly?
What do you recommend? And since the APs will be powered over PoE, what PoE switch do you recommend for this setting?
Thank you."
