A few weeks ago I tried to contact you by email but I haven’t heard back. Can you please send me the firmware image for the AP3000? Is there an explanation on why it is not on the Google Drive?

Please just use the firmware in “WR3000+V1 without recovery TFTP”. It is correct. Since many comnputers detect the TFTP server tool as a virus, and can’t download the file. So I removed it.

Similar to user, Vasilis, I am looking to flash OpenWrt on my Cudy WR3000 router. It is my main and only router at the moment.
In the Cudy Intermediary Firmware Google Drive link, the firmware file is named, “WR3000+V1 without recovery TFTP”. The without recovery part is making me nervous. Is that the only Intermediary Firmware file we have for this router? I see that user Vasilis had issue with that file making his device soft-brick. So I have not tried it yet. If there’s a more appropriate Intermediary Firmware file available for Cudy WR3000 V1 then please send me the file. I will really appreciate it.

Your router is TR3000 256MB 1.0, not the TR3000 1.0. So you have updated the wrong firmware. Our technical support has sent you the solutions via email. Please check.

Like many happy TR3000 owners I embarked on the journey to flash the new toy with Cudy’s temperary OpenWrt firmware that helps removing signature check down the road. Download and unzip worked well, but Firmware Upgrade failed with error “File is invalid. Please retry.
