Common network topology:
Step 1: Plug the Range Extender into the wall socket and wait until the Power light is Stable on.
Note:
1. When you set up the Range Extender, take it closer to your host router.
2. RESET the Range Extender to default settings to avoid interfaces.
Step 2: Connect to the Range Extender's default Wi-Fi which is open Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Launch a web browser, and enter http://cudyre.net/ or http://192.168.10.254/ in the address bar.
The login page below will pop up. Choose the display language of the web management page and the requested password is 'admin' or need to create one password.


Step 4: The Quick Setup window will pop up, choose 'Wireless Extender', then go 'Next'.

Step 5: Choose your "Time Zone".

Step 6: Select the host network you want to extend. Click on 'Connect'.

Step 7: Enter the host router's wireless password.


Note: Make sure the wireless password you type in is correct, otherwise, the configuration cannot succeed.
Step 8: Customize the WiFi name (SSID) and the password is the same as your host network.

Step 9: Click 'Save & Apply' to complete the configuration.
Step 10: Reconnect your wireless devices to the new Wi-Fi network.

Note:
After configuration, the assigned IP address will not be 192.168.10.254. To log into Cudy Extender again, visit 'http://cudyre.net' or find the IP address in the router's client list.

@Dear Mustafa,
If the Range Extender is working on range extender mode, the channel will be locked as the same with the main WiFi. You can’t change it.

Hello! We have bought a cudy extender and plugged it in by pressing wps on our router. The nerwork has full range and all the lights are on at the extender. However when we try to login at our iphone or television it says that we should use the same password as at the original router and it does not work. We have dubbelchecked many times. The name of the extender network is the same as the original network but ends with EXT5G or EXT2G.
It does not work with any of those two. Please help us.
