Select Mesh Backhaul
Satellite Mesh devices can be configured to operate only in wired backhaul mode
This helps prevent possible loops: when multiple Cudy APs are powered by a PoE switch, and the PoE switch is powered off and on, some APs may establish wireless backhaul and provides network from the LAN port, causing loop similar as such topology switch1 -- AP1 ))(( AP2 -- switch1

Select the Mesh upstream device
Mesh satellite devices now allow scanning for nearby mesh nodes, selecting a specific node to connect to. It will switch to automatic upstream mesh selection only if the chosen node cannot be found in the future.

Any timeline as when as when M3600 will receive the CSP 2.5 update?
Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion, but the WR3000 is actually good, with a 160 MHz bandwidth on the 5 GHz band.
Let me rephrase my question:
When the TR3000 is operating as a Cudy Mesh satellite with 5 GHz wireless backhaul, is its 5 GHz radio intentionally restricted to 80 MHz for client connections, even though the TR3000 supports 160 MHz when operating independently?
Eric
@Dear Eric,
Please try set the bandwidth to 160MHz on the main router. Then check again.
For the main mesh router, both of TR3000 and WR3000 will be OK.
“Hello,
Thank you for the beta firmware. However, the TR3000 acting as a Mesh satellite still has an 80MHz bandwidth on the 5GHz Wi-Fi band, even after performing an “Uplink Device” operation from the WR3000.
When a TR3000 1.0 running firmware 2.5.21 is connected as a wireless Mesh satellite to a WR3000 1.0 running firmware 2.5.28b, is the TR3000’s 5 GHz client radio limited to 80 MHz? Is 160 MHz supported for the satellite’s client network when wireless backhaul is used?
I have another question: wouldn’t it be better to use the TR3000 as the main router (since it is newer hardware) with the WR3000 as a Mesh satellite?
Thank you,
Eric"

@Dear Eric,
Our technical support has contacted you via email. Please check.
“Hello,
When do you think CSP 2.5 will be available for download for the WR3000 1.0?
I believe this new version would allow me to switch the bandwidth to 160 MHz (on 5GHz Wi-Fi) for my TR3000 1.0, which is set up as a Mesh satellite behind my WR3000 acting as the master AP ;-)
Summary:
WR3000 1.0 firmware 2.4.19
TR3000 1.0 firmware 2.5.21
TR3000 is connected to WR3000 via wireless Mesh
In Mesh Details → Uplink Device → WR3000, selecting the WR3000 gives “Please upgrade your device firmware and try again”.
Is CSP 2.5 firmware available for WR3000 1.0? Is WR3000 2.4.19 compatible with TR3000 2.5.21’s uplink selection? Does Cudy Mesh support 160 MHz client bandwidth on a TR3000 satellite with wireless backhaul?
Thanks for your reply,
Eric”
