Update: December 24,2025 Good news!
The OpenWrt forum has merged the pacth which supports the new Flash F50L1G41LC and update the OpenWrt firmware to the version 24.10.5. So if you download the OpenWrt firmware version 24.10.5 or newer version in the future to update the Cudy related models. There will be no problem.
Important Notice: November 24, 2025
Cudy AX3000 series routers manufactured starting in November 2025 (TR3000, SN code start with 2543 or later. 2543 in the SN means the 43th week in the year 2025 ) use the new Flash F50L1G41LC. Upgrading to older versions of OpenWrt intermediate firmware or OpenWrt firmware will prevent the device from booting. Therefore, we will be releasing new firmware updates for these products to add restrictions. If the device is detected to be using the new Flash, it will not be able to upgrade to older firmware versions 2.3.X or earlier. Additionally, previously provided OpenWrt intermediate firmware for older Flash devices will not be compatible.
Affected models include: AP3000 Outdoor 1.0, AP3000 Wall 1.0, M3000 1.0/2.0, TR3000 1.0, WR3000E 1.0, WR3000H 1.0, WR3000S 1.0, and WR3000P 1.0.
Cudy has released the new OpenWrt intermediate firmwares, which have been updated to Google Drive. Please switch to the new intermediate firmware.
Regarding the OpenWrt firmware, we are still waiting for the official OpenWrt forum to release an OpenWrt firmware compatible with the new Flash. Once released, please use the new OpenWrt firmware.
If the SN code is less than 2543. It uses the old flash. There is no such problem.
Warnings
This webpage lists software of devices which support OpenWrt system, before download and install the software, please note that OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developers, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

@Dear Mehdi,
There is no OpenWrt firmware for LT500 currently.
“I need to open ssh on cudy Lt500
I could not find any image for that”
where do i find the Openwrt intermediate Firmware (Cudy signed) for
AP3000v1 (AX3000 ceiling mount EU1.0)?
I tried different versions (wall/outdoor) from your google drive without success (e.g. AP3000v1-wall, AP3000-outdoor). If it’s there, please indicate the filename.
Updating the AP3000V1 from 1.1.6.4 to 2.4.6 before didn’t help either.

@Dear Cudy team,
I can’t use the TR3000. V1_20251118.zip in the Google Drive. Since this is the OpenWRT version 24.10.4. I wrote about it that it will turn my Cudy TR3000 “into a brick”, since my Cudy already has a new flash chip (indicated by SN number). I need a new version from you – 24.10.5, I asked when this version will be available? or if it exists, how and where can I find it?
“@Dear Alexander996,
The intermediata firmware is TR3000 V1_20251118.zip in the Google Drive. Please download it and update.
“Dear Cudy team. I want to flash my Cudy TR3000 router (serial number TR30002545, that is, with a new flash memory chip). And I need OpenWRT version 24.10.5. But you don’t have this version on google drive (there is only 24.10.4), which will turn my Cudy TR3000 into a brick. When will the official release “transitional” version of OpenWRT 24.10.5 from cudy? So that I can upgrade/flash my Cudy router? Could you please send me the official version, which is suitable for my model (with new flash memory chips)?”
@Dear Michael,
You can try to recover the old firmware version. Such as the 2.0.0, 2.2.6. Please connect the LAN port when recovering the firmware.
“Hi Cudy Support Team , I have purchased cudy wr3000 v1 router at the end of y 2023 ,I’ve successpully installed openwrt on my router using intermideate Cudy firmware, that was about 2 years ago. Then year after at 2024 ,I decided to go back to Cudy’s official firmware using OpenWrt system update and latest official firware at that moment .But something went wrong ( as I understood, there was some internal flash incompatibility with newer firmwares and older routers caused by internal flash)
As for today 2026 , my WR3000 v1 router is bootlooping endlessly but I’m able to upload firmware using tftp64.
What I’ve tried:
– Uploading latest official firmware v WR3000-R31-2.4.19 via tftp64 (using WAN port and LAN1 port )
– Uploading itermideate firmware from google drive , using tftp64 via LAN1 port and WAN port ,
– Uploading latest openwrt firmware v24.10.5 using tftp64 via WAN and LAN1 port .
- Uploading openwrt kernel only firmware based on v24.10.5 via WAN and LAN1 port .
Only when uploade official Cudy firmware ,the device rebooted itself autoamtically afer 3-4 minutes. In all cases the device is bootloping after manual or automatic restart.
Do you have any suggestions ? Maybe some firwmare to restore the device ?”
