Hi, I bought some AP3000 WAPs specifically because I saw there was OpenWRT support. But now, in attempting to convert them over to vanilla OpenWRT, I see that there is no longer an intermediary firmware image, as the OpenWRT site describes (I see AP3000 Wall and AP3000 Outdoor, but neither work). This is unfortunate. Is there support for this or intent to support soon, or do I need to return this and go another route?

Yes. You can. We have updated the intermediate firmware in the Google Drive. OpenWrt forun also has updated the OpenWrt firmware to 24.10.5 which support the new FLASH. So. please do it.

So far as I know, there is no OpenWrt firmware for WR1300 4.0 currently. Some developers are working on this. We will upload the intermediate firmware for WR1300 4.0 when they finish the development of this job.

Add gaming mode or Fast packet path system to lower the ping for cudy p4
