The OpenWrt firmware is not developed by Cudy but by the developers. We need the OpenWrt forum official support the router at first, then we can release a middle firmware for you, then you can use and upgrade to the OpenWrt firmware.
In addition, for now, it is not possible to develop the OpenWrt firmware for WR3600H. So if you want to use OpenWrt firmware. Please try other models. Such as WR3000H.

Hello, I have WR3000 v2.0. I only found firmware for v1.0 on google drive? Is it possible to install OpenWRT on my device? Can I get firmware or download link please?
I have a Cudy AP3000 V1.0 access point, currently running firmware 2.4.6.
I would like to upgrade the device to OpenWRT but the firmware for “Wall” and “Outdoor” devices from the Google Drive link do not work.
Could you please send the official intermediate firmware to my email?

But now, in attempting to convert them over to vanilla OpenWRT, I see that there is no longer an intermediary firmware image, as the OpenWRT site describes (I see AP3000 Wall and AP3000 Outdoor, but neither work).
