Hello and greetings of the day!!
when would the captive portal feature which got recently added to the WR1300 and WR3000, will be available for the R700. I regularly check blog posts for updates but haven’t found any information.
I’ve been unable to find any existing solutions for captive portal authentication on the R700. I also checked for OpenWRT firmware support but found none, and I’m unsure if it will be available in the future.
I’d like to request that the Cudy development team implement the captive portal feature in an upcoming R700 firmware update.

PS: Blog posts previewing upcoming features would be very helpful, not just those announcing released updates.

→ This results in a bricked router! (fixed red light).
I could debrick the router with the original firmware and TFTP, however, I still want to put OpenWRT on this device.
→ So it seems, the provided package here is not suitable for my system:

It is very difficult for developers to develop the OpenWRT firmware due to the WiFi driver of the broadcom chip. So for now, there is no OpenWRT firmware for our BE3600 and BE6500 WiFi product. We don’t have the OpenWRT firmware too. The OpenWRT firmware is not developped by Cudy but the developers.
