1. Did you unzip the file to a “bin” file when update? If not, please unzip the file.
2. Do you install mesh system with the WR3000S? If yes, please reset the router to factory default and power off other satellite mesh device. Then update this firmware.

“I have tried to restore the cudy_wr3000s_v1* file to my new WR3000S router. The message: File is invalid. Please retry. appears. Can you send me a file that works properly. This process worked well for my first WR3000S but not now. The new serial number is: S0007085261105145 Thank you.”

Got the WR3000S working. Here’s how: I tried flashing the upstream openwrt sysupgrade, and it was rejected, then retried the gdrive hosted one and it accepted it. The file with 403e276f74fd29917fd4260294d1a137

Also receiving “File is invalid” using the latest WR3000S file on the google drive that has the md5sum 403e276f74fd29917fd4260294d1a137.
