Hello Cudy Support,
I have a Cudy M1800 EU V1.0 with the following firmware:
Model: M1800 EU V1.0 Firmware: 1.13.6-20220317-192531 Hardware: M1800 EU V1.0My Cudy router is currently configured as a Mesh Access Point behind another router (Zyxel/Soyealink B628).
The network is working correctly:
Main router (B628): 192.168.9.1 Cudy M1800: 192.168.9.135 My iPhone is connected to the Cudy Wi-Fi Internet access works normally I can open the Cudy web interface directly at http://192.168.9.135However, the Cudy App cannot find the device and shows “No device found”.
I have also checked the iPhone settings and Local Network permission is enabled for the Cudy App.
I understand that the Cudy App may require firmware 2.×.x, but the official download page for M1800 V1.0 currently only provides firmware 1.13.6.
Could you please clarify:
1. Is the Cudy App fully compatible with M1800 EU V1.0 running firmware 1.13.6?
2. Is there any newer firmware for M1800 V1.0 that supports the Cudy App?
3. If firmware 2.×.x is required, is there an official firmware upgrade path for M1800 V1.0?
4. Is there a way to manually add the M1800 to the Cudy App using its IP address (192.168.9.135)?
5. Does operating the M1800 in Mesh Access Point mode prevent the Cudy App from discovering it?
I do not want to install firmware intended for M1800 V2.0, as my device is specifically V1.0.
Thank you for your help.
@Dear Jean,

“Good Day
Please can you advise me the same. Version 2.3.12 is by miles the most stable but still terrible. Version 2.3.15 and 2.3.16 is almost unusable as it connects and disconnects devices as it wants with no logic used. I would like to use 2.2.10. When will csp 2.5 be released on wr3600 v1.0 and will it be stable ??”

@Dear Pty,
You can try to downgrade the firmware according to the instruction on the website below.

“Hi,
I’m trying to downgrade my wr3600 1.0 from v.2.3.12 to v.2.2.10 but I get file invalid.I tried your method from the mesh section but it still won’t work.
1. Is there a way to do it for this specific router?
2. Are you planning to roll out a new fw that will fix the current issues of 2.3.16?
I currently experience TEAMS intreruptions during calls and Im getting a bit frustrated with this router”
