Will there be OpenWRT release for wr3000 v2.0 version? I guess that depends on if OpenWRT will start support your chip, and your dev team?
Moreover, stock firmware is openwrt based, I guess, as I get LuCi environment here.

If I can be any help to create openwrt firmware for these devices, I’ll be glad to provide assistance.

No, WR3000 V2.0 uses different chip model from the V1.0. There is no OpenWrt firmware for WR3000 V2.0. If you really need to update to the OpenWrt firmware. I suggest you change another model.

TR3000 256mb is not affected by the 2543 issue.
