There are three types of the firmwares.
First, the Cudy official firmware which has firmware signature and don’t be allowed to update to the OpenWrt firmware directly which is downloaded on the OpenWrt forum website.

Second, the intermediate firmware which you can download on the Google Drive. The intermediate firmwares are provided by Cudy. You can update the intermediate firmware from Cudy official firmware. The signature will be remove after update to the intermediate firmware. Then you can continue to update the OpenWrt firmware.

Third, theOpenWrt firmware, which is downloaded on the OpenWrt forum website. This is the final firmware you want to use.

Do I first install Factory image from OpenWRT’s website in the section Firmware OpenWrt Install URL, and then upgrade it using the provided sysupgrade. How does that sysupgrade differ from OpenWRT’s?”

Hello, I’d like to know what version of firmware I’m supposed to install on Cudy’s firmware, as far as I know sysupgrade file, provided by you on google drive, should be downloaded on existing OpenWRT. Do I first install Factory image from OpenWRT’s website in the section Firmware OpenWrt Install URL, and then upgrade it using the provided sysupgrade. How does that sysupgrade differ from OpenWRT’s?
