Select Mesh Backhaul
Satellite Mesh devices can be configured to operate only in wired backhaul mode
This helps prevent possible loops: when multiple Cudy APs are powered by a PoE switch, and the PoE switch is powered off and on, some APs may establish wireless backhaul and provides network from the LAN port, causing loop similar as such topology switch1 -- AP1 ))(( AP2 -- switch1

@Dear ALEX,
I just sent you the old firmware 2.3.13 via email. Please check and have a try.
“MY CUDY WR1200 V2. 1 In this 5 GHz signal strength stood on the other side of the router on the other side of a wall. Two spots or half the signal strength I don’t know why it’s so bad is there any solution for this the latest firmware is 2.5.21 still I don’t know why it’s like this Also, do you have any other pharma that doesn’t have this range issue, I’m an older version 2.3. Something version at the time of buying it it had better range but after this latest update why i know the range has decreased can you fix it and give me any solution that would be great”
@Dear Piotr,
Our technical support has sent you the firmware via email. Please check.

Bug Report & Firmware Improvements – Router WR3000 V1.0 (Firmware v2.5.41)
Dear Technical Support and Development Team,
I am writing to report two critical issues identified in the latest firmware version for the WR3000 V1.0 router. These issues are directly impacting the product’s performance and user experience in the Brazilian market.
Here are my device and environment details:
• Hardware Model: WR3000 V1.0 (Two units operating in a Mesh Wi-Fi network)
• Firmware Version: 2.5.41-20261012-082635 (Based on a modified OpenWrt)
• Purchase Region: Brazil (However, the serial number of both units ends with the “EU” suffix)
Bug 1: Domain Verification Failure in DDNS Module (Cloudflare v4 via Token)
In the new firmware version, support for DDNS using the Cloudflare v4 API with a Token was introduced. However, the feature has a logic loop error during verification:
1. When configuring the domain using the required syntax (e.g., ddns@meusite.com), the router successfully completes the initial DNS update.
2. However, during subsequent routine checks, the internal script attempts to verify the IP using the “@” character (looking for ddns@meusite.com) instead of querying the actual subdomain (://meusite.com).
3. This breaks the verification process and triggers the log error: “myddns: NO valid IP found”. Consequently, the DDNS stops working and fails to update whenever the WAN IP changes.
Suggested Fix:
The interface lacks a dedicated “Lookup Host” field, which is standard in vanilla OpenWrt (ddns-scripts). Please restore or add a separate Lookup Host field in the UI. This will allow users to keep the @ syntax in the domain field for Cloudflare’s API while allowing the router to properly query the actual subdomain (e.g., ://meusite.com) during routine IP verification checks.
Bug 2 / Enhancement: Wi-Fi Region Lock (Transmission Power Limited to EU Standards)
Since the devices sold here carry the “EU” suffix, the firmware is hardcoded to European regulatory standards. The user interface does not provide an option to change the Wi-Fi regulatory region (Country Code).
• Practical Impact: High channels such as channel 149 (5 GHz frequency), which are legally allowed to operate at maximum power in Brazil, are severely throttled to only 15 dBm (the EU limit).
• This restriction causes a massive loss in coverage and leaves the hardware completely underutilized for Brazilian consumers who purchased the product officially within the country.
Suggested Fix: Add a region/country selection dropdown menu in the wireless settings, or allow the Wi-Fi power limits to dynamically adapt to local Anatel (Brazilian regulatory agency) regulations.
I am available to provide detailed system logs or test experimental beta firmware builds if needed. I look forward to hearing back from you regarding a timeline for these fixes.
Best regards
I experienced you as an innovative company, expected fast updates. My P4 generally works but some little things that I see fixed on other devices never come. Do you have beta program to test new version.
