Yes, you are right. But some developers can merge the patch when they build the OpenWrt firmware. Some developers have already done this. Sorry, for now, there is no OpenWrt firmware for GP3000 V1. The OpenWrt firmware is not developed by Cudy but by the developers. We need the OpenWrt forum official support the router at first, then we can release a middle firmware for you, then you can use and upgrade to the OpenWrt firmware.
