‏Cudy WR1300 ו-WR3000 תומכים כעת ב-Captive Portal

I am using the WR3000 Router with captive portal enabled. When users connect to the AX3000 AP node controlled by the WR3000 router, it does not redirtect them to the captive portal.

My setup: Internet → WR3000 Router → Cudy POE Switch → AX3000 AP

The AP’s are wired to the POE switch, and the switch is wired to the WR3000 Router, that is setup with the captive portal.

Please advise how I get the clients to be routed to the captive portal through the AP’s.

The Cudy AP also support remote web management function. You can go to “Advanced Settings” —“Administration” function page. You can enable it and try to login the web page of the AP remotely.
But you need to know. This function requires the public IPv4 address.

In addition, if your AP is working on Wireless router or WISP mode. You can use the zerotier VPN function. Please refer to this instruction attached to set up the zerotier VPN.

You need to install a portal server and radius server to use the manual option. It is too difficult. I suggest you use the current portal service provider, such as the HOTSTOPSYSTEM. It will be easier.

How can I set up the captive portal to just forward to my website? Do I still need pay for a third party? If the answer is manual can you please share the info I would put in to make it work?
