This article will guide you to open an extra Wi-Fi for your guests. It will only provide an internet connection and separately from the main network. For example, when you connect to the guest network, the device cannot access the local network, unable to log into the web interface, etc.
Note: Guest Network doesn't available in Access Point Mode.
Step 1: Open a web browser and go to http://cudy.net or http://192.168.10.1.
For details, please refer to How to log into the web interface of Cudy Router?
Step 2: Go to Advanced Settings->Guest Network.

Step 3: Create a 2.4GHz or 5GHz guest network according to your needs.
The default guest network is an open Wi-Fi named 'Cudy-Guest-2.4G' or 'Cudy-Guest-5G'.

Step 4: Set Encryption to WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Mixed Mode, then set an easy-to-remember password.

Step 5: 'Save & Apply' the settings. Now you can access your guest network using the SSID and password you set.
Don't enable Hidden Network unless you want to manually input this SSID for Wi-Fi access.

“it seems that an activated mac-filter also has an effect on the guest-network in the sense that the router doesn’t connect a guest to the internet! LT700E.
i think most people don’t like this and even worse: the activated mac filter on the guest network is not editable and it even worser it doesn’t use the mac table that is defined for the main wifi network.
so the mac filter is completely useless if one allows a guest-network.
probably i am wrong and the guest network can connect a guest to the internet with an activated mac-filter. but if so, please tell what i can do, to achieve this.”

@Dear John,
You will find the Guset Network function if you set the router to work on Wireless Router mode or WISP mode. There is no Guset Network function if you set the router to work on other modes.
