Ein VPN-Client ist ein Endgerät oder eine Software, die verwendet wird, um eine sichere Verbindung zwischen einem Benutzer und einem VPN-Server herzustellen.
Was ist ein VPN?
Ein VPN (Virtual Private Network) ermöglicht Ihnen den sicheren und privaten Zugriff auf Internetressourcen mithilfe von Tunneling-Technologie. Das VPN verschlüsselt Ihre persönlichen Daten und verbirgt Ihre IP-Adresse vor der Öffentlichkeit, wenn Sie das Internet nutzen. Für die VPN-Nutzer sieht es so aus, als wären die Computer direkt miteinander verbunden.

Standardregel: Alle Geräte zulassenoderAlle Geräte verbietenum ein VPN zu verwenden.
Um das Gerät anzugeben, klicken Sie aufSystemstatus->Geräte->VPNum es zu aktivieren oder zu deaktivieren.
Standortübergreifend:Ermöglichen Sie es den Geräten an zwei Standorten, miteinander zu kommunizieren.
VPN-Richtlinie:
Deaktivieren:Keine weiteren Einstellungen.
VPN-Kill-Switch:Schalten Sie die Internetverbindung ab, wenn die VPN-Verbindung abbricht.
Domain:Legen Sie fest, welche Domänen über das VPN laufen und welche nicht.
Remote-Subnetz:Legen Sie fest, welche Subnetze über das VPN laufen und welche nicht.
Schritt 3:ImProtokollWählen Sie aus der Liste den gewünschten Eintrag aus und geben Sie die von Ihrem VPN-Anbieter bereitgestellten VPN-Informationen ein.
•PPTP-VPN
Geben Sie die VPN-Serveradresse (z. B. 113.92.73.163) sowie den VPN-Benutzernamen und das Passwort ein, die Sie von Ihrem VPN-Anbieter erhalten haben.
•L2TP VPN
Geben Sie die VPN-Serveradresse (z. B. 113.92.73.163), den VPN-Benutzernamen und das Passwort sowie den von Ihrem VPN-Anbieter bereitgestellten Pre-Shared Key ein.
Wenn Ihr VPN-Anbieter Ihnen auch die Tunnel-IP-Adresse bereitstellt, die mit dem Konto verknüpft ist, können Sie die Funktion aktivieren.Benutzerdefinierte Tunnel-IP verwendenOption.
•OpenVPN
Klicken Sie aufBrowserum die von Ihrem VPN-Anbieter bereitgestellte Konfigurationsdatei zu importieren.

Hello. I can’t resolve the domain. YouTube seems to use DGA domains. Like rr5—-sn-q4fl6n6s.googlevideo.com, rr4—-sn-gvnuxaxjvh-c356.googlevideo.com and (part).googlevideo.com is always different. Is it possible that the router can’t resolve 3rd level domains, etc.? It works in the OpenWRT firmware, but not in yours. What should I do?

I think the reason is about the routing rules. You need to set the routing rule on the LANCOM 1800VAW to access the LAN subnet of the LT700. The destination is 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 by default, via IPsec interface.

I have a LANCOM 1800VAW modem with built-in IPsec IKEv2 VPN. I’ve successfully established a VPN connection from LANCOM to Cudy LT700. From the Cudy LT700 side, I can access the LANCOM public network and reach all devices on its internal network.
However, the issue is that from the LANCOM 1800VAW, I cannot access the Cudy LT700 modem or its local network. Due to software limitations, I’m unable to apply advanced configurations on the Cudy modem anymore.
I would really appreciate any assistance or suggestions to help resolve this issue.

1. What do you want to access via the Zerotier? The WEB page of the master or slave router? Or there is a server in the LAN area of the master or slave router?
2. You can try to follow the instruction on the website to set it.

Most of the time, you need to do two other things:
First, change one of the router’s LAN IP address (default is 192.168.10.1/24) to other subnet, such as 192.168.20.1/24.
Second, set the routing rules on the Zerotier management WEB console.
