Hi Jaddie, even going back to 2.0.0 did not work here. Still getting the file is invalid message. A 2nd hand Aruba is on its way to me now, if it works then there will be some Cudy kit going on eBay!
Jon
I have two Cudy M1800 with firmware version 2.1.3-20240509-102323. I tried to use the file in M1800+V2.zip. However, it says “Not applicable! Please upload the firmware applicable to the following models.” if I try to update firmware from Advance Settings → Firmware. If I try to update the firmware of a specific model, it says “File is invalid. Please retry.”. I have tried downgrading the firmware version of the M1800 devices to 1.16.14-20231117-190903. It gives the same error. What should I do?

That seems to be working, Jon if you follow the 2nd link they gave, there is a 2nd place to update the firmware which works, the normal one errored for me too, but doing it where the 2nd guide shows it is now rolling back to v2.0.0 at which point openwrt should install
Following the openwrt saga. I have several M3000 v1 units and cannot load ANY openwrt file, even with original FW back to 2.0.0. This is very frustrating and I am openly thinking about replacing the whole system (4x M3000, 1x AP3000 Out)… I need separate wireless networks and being limited to 2.4 and 5 is useless… I need a separate 2.4 network for IOT as well as a separate 5 network for IOT, a merged 2.4/5 for everything else and then a guest network…
