1. Make sure that your router is on factory default status, if you are not sure, please reset the router to factory default manually.
2. Connect to Cudy router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Open a web browser, and go to http://cudy.net/ or http://192.168.10.1. Login the web page of the router.
3. Configure the router (such as PPPoE username/password or other settings) and connect to the internet.
Note1:
We don't suggest to configure Wi-Fi SSID & password, as the information is printed on the bottom label, if you change that, when customer reset to preset settings, then SSID&password customer see will not match the information printed on the label.
4. Go to http://192.168.10.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/preset ,and click "Generate" to generate a preset settings(save all your current settings as preset profile).
Note:
After you clicking on the Generate, the configurations will be saved. No matter you click on the Reset icon on the web interface (Advanced Settings) or press the hardware Reset button for 3 seconds, it will back to the settings you saved.
The preset configuration cannot be removed or deleted, but it can be overridden, so you can go to the preset page again to save the new configurations.
