I would also like to flash OpenWRT onto an AP3000. Could you please upload the the intermediate firmware to the googledrive?! Is there any reason, that your just sending the firmware via email?

The firmware of M3000 V1 and V2 are the same. So the OpenWrt firmware are also the same. Please use V1 firmware for you router. No problem.
