Cudy AP only support guest network on Router mode. We have plan to add this feature on AP mode when the next firmware update.

@CAIUS, I have sent you a beta firmware, please update. Then the problem will be fixed.
Bought 5GNR AX3000 WiFi6 router (don’t know why it’s called P5 in some places…) and already disappointed as it doesn’t seem to manage a simple task.
I set up guest wifi but couldn’t connect to it from any of various devices. I tried using different SSID’s, several passwords of different lengths and complexities and encryptions.
Finally, I found the quest wifi’s are only accessible when I left them to the state of “no encryption”.
So, the instructions on this page do not match with reality.
What sense does it make to run a guest wlan with no password?
