Select Mesh Backhaul
Satellite Mesh devices can be configured to operate only in wired backhaul mode
This helps prevent possible loops: when multiple Cudy APs are powered by a PoE switch, and the PoE switch is powered off and on, some APs may establish wireless backhaul and provides network from the LAN port, causing loop similar as such topology switch1 -- AP1 ))(( AP2 -- switch1

@Dear Hede,
We have provided your feedback to the product department for evaluation.
“Hello,
Thank you very much for the cool features. I am looking forward to using them soon. But i also have a suggestion. Could you please add AmneziaWG support. It is a slightly different wariation of Wireguard but with added features to bypass deep packet inspection of ISPs that block the WG protocol. The other major VPN router brand has already provided a beta firmware for some models. AmneziaVPN support for WR6500H and TR3000 would be awesome. Thanks.”

@Dear Peter,
What do you mean about the “open-source FW”? I don’t understand. In addition, For Cudy WR3600. There is only V1.0 currently.
“I would love to have the open-source FW you also offer for the WR3600 2.0, could you email me the FW?”

@Dear STEVE,
We have plan to update the firmware for P5 in the future. We have also forwarded your advices to our product manager for evaluating.
“I don’t see the Cudy P5 on the support list, and the router has a bug with 802.11ax when using a channel width greater than 40 MHz.
Additionally, could you add features such as:
- AP mode.
- Modify TWT and OFDMA option on WIFI 6 802.11ax.
- RADIUS mode with enterprise wifi.
- Modifying the DNS suffix in DHCP,
- DNS server to add A, CNAME TXT records.
- Load balancing between the main internet service and the 4G/5G mobile network."
