Dear Support Team,
I’m currently using the Cudy WR1200 Version 2.0 (BD Region), and I would like to request the addition of more features in the Cudy app for better control. Unlike the IP/web firmware version, the app lacks several important options such as Wi-Fi scheduling, reboot scheduling, MAC filtering, VPN, etc.

I also suggest adding more customization options to the Wi-Fi reboot scheduling feature — for example, allowing users to set automatic reboots for any 2 or 3 specific days in a week. I hope these features will be added soon to enhance the overall user experience.

@Dear Malik,
You must update the intermediate firmware first, then update the firmware to 2.3.3. The intermediate firmware is in the package of 2.3.0. Please download the 2.3.0 on the website below.
https://www.cudy.com/pages/download-center/wr1500-1-0
Note:
1. Please unzip the firmware before update.
2. The update instruction is attached. Please have a check.
3. Please reset the router to factory default after updating the firmware to 2.3.3. Then reinstall the router again.

Hello Cudy Support Team,

I’m using the Cudy WR1200 router. I can not change my password or manage my router. I’ve upgraded, but it’s slow and loses connection now and again.

Kindly assist, TIA.
Best regards,
Betty

@Dear Shamim,
Our technical support has sent you the firmware via email. Please check.

“Hello Cudy Support Team,

I’m using the Cudy WR1200 router. After updating to the firmware version 2.4.21, I noticed that the 5GHz WiFi signal and speed have become much weaker than before. The 2.4GHz network is working fine, but the 5GHz range and performance have dropped significantly.

Please provide me with the previous firmware version 2.3.13 so that I can downgrade and restore the good 5GHz performance.

Thank you for your help and support.
Best regards,
Shamim Reza"
