Update: December 24,2025 Good news!
The OpenWrt forum has merged the pacth which supports the new Flash F50L1G41LC and update the OpenWrt firmware to the version 24.10.5. So if you download the OpenWrt firmware version 24.10.5 or newer version in the future to update the Cudy related models. There will be no problem.
Important Notice: November 24, 2025
Cudy AX3000 series routers manufactured starting in November 2025 (TR3000, SN code start with 2543 or later. 2543 in the SN means the 43th week in the year 2025 ) use the new Flash F50L1G41LC. Upgrading to older versions of OpenWrt intermediate firmware or OpenWrt firmware will prevent the device from booting. Therefore, we will be releasing new firmware updates for these products to add restrictions. If the device is detected to be using the new Flash, it will not be able to upgrade to older firmware versions 2.3.X or earlier. Additionally, previously provided OpenWrt intermediate firmware for older Flash devices will not be compatible.
Affected models include: AP3000 Outdoor 1.0, AP3000 Wall 1.0, M3000 1.0/2.0, TR3000 1.0, WR3000E 1.0, WR3000H 1.0, WR3000S 1.0, and WR3000P 1.0.
Cudy has released the new OpenWrt intermediate firmwares, which have been updated to Google Drive. Please switch to the new intermediate firmware.
Regarding the OpenWrt firmware, we are still waiting for the official OpenWrt forum to release an OpenWrt firmware compatible with the new Flash. Once released, please use the new OpenWrt firmware.
If the SN code is less than 2543. It uses the old flash. There is no such problem.

Hello. I specifically need to install OpenWrt on a Cudy M3000 V2.0. The current issue is not simply with the stock firmware, but with the OpenWrt installation process and the intermediate firmware file.
The situation is as follows:
Router: Cudy M3000 V2.0
I used the intermediate firmware file intended for transitioning from the stock Cudy firmware to OpenWrt.
After flashing that intermediate file, the router does not boot into OpenWrt correctly.
The Ethernet connection periodically goes down and comes back up.
The router appears to enter a reboot/boot loop, with the LED changing states.
There is no stable access to OpenWrt at 192.168.1.1.
Sometimes 192.168.10.1 becomes available again.
So my goal is not just to restore the stock firmware. I need to successfully complete the installation of OpenWrt.
Could you please clarify:
After flashing your intermediate file, should the M3000 V2.0 boot directly into OpenWrt?
If yes, why might my router be entering a boot loop instead of booting OpenWrt?
Is another firmware file required after the intermediate file?
If so, which exact OpenWrt image should be used for Cudy M3000 V2.0?
Should it be a factory.bin, sysupgrade.bin, or a special recovery/install image?
If the next step must be performed via TFTP, please provide the exact procedure:
required filename;
PC IP address;
router IP address;
which LAN port to use;
RESET/power-on sequence;
which firmware image should be transferred.
Could this problem be caused by the intermediate firmware itself or by a specific hardware revision of the M3000 V2.0?
What I need is a working step-by-step procedure for installing OpenWrt on the M3000 V2.0 from its current state, because at the moment the intermediate firmware does not result in a successful OpenWrt boot.
If necessary, I can provide a video of the boot loop, ipconfig/ping output, and the current stock firmware version.

The file cudy_m3000-v1-sysupgrade_20251119.bin is correct file. You connect your computer to the router via ethernet cable when upload this firmware. The IP address of the router will be changed to 192.168.1.1 after uploading the firmware. Then you can login the webpage of the router via the new IP address and update the OpenWrt firmware.

WAN PHY: Realtek RTL8221B
Stock firmware: 2.5.28
I downloaded the official intermediary package M3000 1.0_2.0.zip.
The included file:
cudy_m3000-v1-sysupgrade_20251119.bin
causes a boot loop after flashing. Ethernet continuously connects and disconnects.
I can restore the router successfully to stock firmware via TFTP, and it works normally again.
Could you please provide the correct OpenWrt intermediary firmware for my exact hardware revision?

I believe a very similar case has already occurred with the same or very similar hardware parameters — M3000 V2, board R37, F50L1G41LB NAND and RTL8221B PHY — where Cudy support provided a different intermediary firmware directly to the user.
If possible, please send me the same compatible intermediary firmware for this hardware revision instead of the public cudy_m3000-v1-sysupgrade_20251119.bin."
