How to configure Cudy Wi-Fi router into WISP Mode?

WISP Mode:

In WISP mode, the router allows multiple users to share the internet connection from WISP. The LAN port devices share the same IP from the WISP via the wireless port in this manner. When connected to WISP, the wireless port functions as a WAN port.

Common network topology:

Step 1: Open a web browser and go to http://cudy.net or http://192.168.10.1.

For details, please refer to How to log into the web interface of Cudy Router?

Step 2: The Quick Setup window will pop up, choose "WISP", then go "Next".

Step 3: Choose your "Time Zone".

Step 4: Select the host network you want to extend. Click on 'Connect'.

Or click on General Settings->WISP->Enable and then select the host network you want to extend.

Step 5: Enter the host network's wireless password.

Note: Make sure the wireless password you type in is correct, otherwise, the configuration cannot success.

Step 6: Customize the wireless network name and password or keep them default.

Step 7: Click "Save & Apply" to complete the configuration.

Step 8: Wait a few seconds for the system rebooting, when the login page pops up again, you can enjoy the internet.

@Dear Z,
It is strange. What the model and firmware version of your Cudy device. Please check and reply me.

“On range extender: wifi internet works, ethernet works.
On WISP: wifi internet works, ethernet no, no identification

I need WISP as for me is important to isolate the new network from the main one,I don’t want devices to be found on the same network"

@Dear z,
You can try to set the cudy router to range extender mode and check again?
In addition, when set WISP mode, does the WISP interface get the correct IP address from the main WiFi? What is the internet Status on the WEB page?

My setup is the same as the photo in this guide
