Cudy?

Cudy.

Home Mesh-Cudy

Cudy Router?

@Dear John,
1. Please check if the Mesh system is installed. You can login to the web page of the main mesh router, check the “Mesh” status card.
2. If yes, please check the status page of the satellite mesh router. Check if the backhaul is Wired?
3. If the backhaul is wired, please try to change the cable between the two router. Do you connect them directly or there is a switch between them?
4. What is the firmware version of the two routers? Please update to the latest and check again.

“I have two WR11000s which I’m trying to use as a mesh. The main router is connected to 1 Gbps fibre WAN. The secondary router is connected to the main router by wired ethernet (cat 6 cable).

When I plug my laptop into the secondary router with ethernet, I get a great connection (~800+ Mbps, according to speedtest.net). When I connect to the secondary router by wifi, the connection is hopeless — even sitting my laptop right next to the router, I get speeds of just a couple of Mbps, and lots of drop outs. This happens on all bands (2/5/6 GHz).
When I am connected to the main router by wifi, it works fine.
Any suggestions as to what might be going wrong?
Thanks!"

@Dear Kamil,
I think the camera is connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi of the router. You can try to change the mode of 2.4GHz to 802.11b+g+n mode. Then check if the camera is able to connect to it?

“I built a mesh network using four WR3600E routers, and the internet works great. However, this network was meant for cctv monitoring, and that’s where the problem appeared: when the routers are in mesh mode, the cameras won’t log into the network, no matter which WPA level we choose. Only after disabling encryption and the password do the cameras connect to Wi-Fi. The cameras are XMeye. Is there any solution? When connected to lan port everything works. I’ll add that when the router is not in mesh mode, the same camera connects to it normally with wifi. Regards.”

@Dear Paweł,
Yes, you can. You can choose on of the M3000 to be the main mesh device. Then set it to working on the Mesh Access Point mode. Connect it to the network. Then reset all other Cudy devices to factory default. For the second M3000, please connect to the WAN port to the network. For the APs, please connect to the network directly. The Mesh system will be install automatically.

“Hi,
I have no cudy router as my main router, I’m going to disable wifi on that router and cerate mesh system viavwired backhaul. can I connect via eth 2 cudy m3000 and 2 ap3000 and cerate wired mesh between them with having fast roaming without creating subnet.”
