I don’t see an OpenWRT firmware for the AP3000 v1, I’ve attempted to use the firmware from OpenWRT directly, but it appears that they will not load due to missing signature. Any assistance is appreciated.

I think the firmware you downloaded is correct. Or you can’t upload it. So I suggest you to check if your computer’s IP address is obtained via DHCP? If not, please set it to DHCP. Because the manage IP address has been changed from 192.168.10.1 to 192.168.1.1. You need to login the web page of the router via new IP address.

Yes, WR1300 V1.0 supports OpenWrt firmware. Please do it.
