OpenWrt Software Download

Warnings

This webpage lists software of devices which support OpenWrt system, before download and install the software, please note that OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developers, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

“Hi Cudy support, i’m interrested too in runing openwrt on my ap3000 ceiling ap, tested this build and it boot very long over uart, but after it loads it works very well, and now i want to flash it thru web panel, when we get transit firmware? Thanks”

Hi,
I purchased the Cudy WR1300 one week ago. I have faced a lot of problems:
1. Overheating: It becomes too hot easily.
2. Bandwidth limit (QoS): It doesn’t allow me to set a kbps speed limit for clients. Even I can’t set a fractional number like 0.5 Mbps. The lowest value is 1 Mbps.
3. I couldn’t find the LED control feature; I find this disturbing while sleeping.
4. It has a simple app, which doesn’t have any special features like MAC filter or bandwidth control.
5. I have used a Tenda router for a long time. It had all the features and a beautifully easy-to-control interface. I could limit bandwidth from the same interface. I didn’t need to find the QoS or MAC filter option. Also, all the LED control, easy whitelist filtering, everything. Additionally, I used to receive regular updates. The router used to save offline device info as well.

I am using the latest version (v3) of the Cudy WR1300, firmware version 2.26. Now, what should I do?
