How to set a Static IP on my computer?

Here we take Windows 10 as an example.

Step 1 In the search box next to Start img1 on the taskbar, type control panel. Select Control Panel from the list of results.

Step 2 Click on Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center, click on Change adapter settings on the left side.

Step 3 Highlight and right-click on Ethernet, go to Properties.

Step 4 Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > and click Properties.

Step 5 Select Use the following IP address and enter the IP address you want to set up. For example 192.168.1.88 in the IP address field. Enter 255.255.255.0 in the subnet mask field. Click OK twice.
